Code: 30010175-39 WEICON DF 175 is a patented thread sealing thread made of 100% PTFE that permanently and reliably seals almost all metal and plastic threads. WEICON DF 175 reliably closes the gap on the threads and forms a PTFE film of the required thickness during the screwing procedure. This film is extremely resistant to almost all chemicals, including aggressive solvents, alkalis and acids. WEICON DF 175 is non-flammable and can reliably operate at temperatures from -200°C (-328°F) to 240°C (464°F). Unlike other sealants that use only fabric as the basis for the actual sealant, WEICON DF 175 is a sealant in its own right. Thus, the problems caused by the separation of the base material and the sealant during the life of the screw connection are eliminated. WEICON DF 175 is always strong and always remains soft and elastic. WEICON DF 175 is very economical. Instead of 20 rolls of PTFE tape, 1 roll is sufficient (12 mm x 0.1mm x 12m).
