This model uses two manual-hydraulic pumps attached to the rear handle. To lift a drum, operators pump the rear handle back and forth, this raises the height of the carriage. The lift pumps have been designed so that the force required to lift a drum is low and meets the manual handling guidelines. To lower the drum back down, operators turn a controllable lowering lever. When handling more than 5-10 drums per day, we highly recommend you explore our electric model or pneumatic model, these models are faster and therefore further save time. Powered models are inherently less physically demanding for operators which is an added benefit.
We can offer an ATEX / UKEX version of this drum rotator model, suitable for use in zone 1, 2, 21 and 22 environments. This version will have anti-static wheels, anti-static guarding, earthing chains and full ATEX documentation.
